8th March 2008: After a detailed review and finalization of subclauses, and considering various concerns raised by members of alumni, NEC members deliberated and suggested amendments for the Trust formation and approved the same to be registered before 31st March 2008.

The National Institute of Technology, Warangal, established in AP in 1959 as the first of the 20 Regional Engineering Colleges of India, with an objective to promote national integration along with technical education to future engineers and nation builders.
Our Institute, National Institute of Technology, Warangal, is stepping into its Golden Jubilee year (fromOctober 10th 2008 to October 10th2009). On the threshold of this momentous occasion, inaugural function of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations (GJC) is scheduled to be held on October 10th 2008, the Foundation Day of our Institute
Alumni of the college have distinguished themselves in various fields of industry and business. Many are leading entrepreneurs, civil and public sector servants, academicians and community leaders with three alumni sitting in the parliament.
