1. Forging closer links amongst members and between members.

2. Providing opportunities for self development of the alumni.

3 Promotion / Interchange / Exchange / Transfer of skills and experience amongst members and between the members and the Almamater.

4 Promoting / Publishing the activities and achievements of the alumni through exhibitions / news letters etc.

5 Promotion of academic or educational activities by organizing or sponsoring seminars, guest lectures etc.

6 Promotion of cultural, recreational & social activities beneficial to the members and to the society, at large.

7 Providing career guidance to the would be graduates or fresh graduates of RECW and an opportunity for transfer of technology / knowledge between the College and the alumni.

8 Forging contemporary technical education through establishment of Technical Schools, Chairs, Centers of Excellence etc., at the Almamater.

9 Undertaking any other necessary activity that is incidental to or conducive to the attainment of any or all of the above mentioned objectives useful to the members as well as those for enhancing the reputation / image of the Almamater.

10 Lending / rendering service to society through establishment of institutions such as community centers, senior citizen homes or any other organization / activity beneficial to society at large.

11 Facilitating formation of Chapters of The Association at various locations in the country and overseas.

12 Facilitating employment/campus placement for the students passing out of RECW, through the good offices of the alumni.
